The Penn Highlands Clearfield Auxiliary has announced the availability of scholarships for students pursuing degrees or diplomas in the medical field. These $1,000 scholarships are offered on a limited basis to qualified candidates who have completed their first semester in an approved degree program.

Applicants must submit a completed application form available at www.phhealthcare.org/scholarship, along with two faculty recommendations, a current transcript, and a personal letter detailing their goals. An Application Review Committee will evaluate all submissions and may conduct personal interviews.

Scholarship awards will be based on several criteria: financial need, residency preference for local applicants, employment history with preference given to current or former employees of Penn Highlands Healthcare and those with health-related experience, academic performance, and faculty recommendations.

The scholarship amount may vary depending on fund availability and the number of eligible applicants. Applications should be sent to Tami Billotte, Auxiliary Scholarship Chairman, at 809 Turnpike Avenue, Clearfield, PA 16830 by May 2, 2025.

All applications will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, non-job-related handicap or disability or national origin.
