Senator Cris Dush of Pennsylvania is set to welcome the Zoe International Cycling Team as they pass through Central Pennsylvania during their participation in the Race Across America (RAAM). This event, which begins in Oceanside, California, and ends in Atlantic City, New Jersey, spans over 3,000 miles and crosses three mountain ranges and 13 states.
Team Zoe International is riding coast to coast with the goal of raising awareness and support for children affected by human trafficking. Senator Dush expressed his commitment to this cause by stating, “The race to protect our citizens against Human Trafficking is on!”
Dush has been a strong advocate for anti-human trafficking measures. He sponsored Senate Bill 44, now Act 39 of 2023, which ensures that victims of child human trafficking have access to essential services and support. Additionally, he played a key role in securing funding for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General’s Human Trafficking Section in the state budget for 2024-25.
The cyclists are expected to arrive at RAAM Time Station 50 along Route 16 (Main Street) in Rouzerville on Friday, June 20th between 2:45 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. The event will be livestreamed on RAAM Live Tracking and ZOE RAAM Media Page.
