93 percent of applicants to Indiana University of Pennsylvania-Main Campus were admitted for fall 2018

At Indiana University of Pennsylvania-Main Campus, 93 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 58 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Indiana enrolled 11,483 students in fall 2018, including 9,373 in undergraduate and 2,110 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

94 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 5 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (73 percent) and Black or African American (12 percent).

The school admitted 93 percent of the 9,910 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 23 percent enrolled.
