In a statement, Pittman expressed concerns about the ability of Philadelphia District Attorney Krasner to maintain law and order in the city, stating that "no amount of increased subsidy can restore customer confidence in making use of the network given the raging crime crisis Krasner perpetuates."

He also suggests that it is time for electric vehicles to start contributing their fair share to transportation infrastructure and services.
