State Representative Jim Struzzi has been elected as the Appropriations Chair for the Pennsylvania House Republican Caucus for the 2025-26 Legislative Session. His colleagues chose him to fill this leadership role.
“I am honored to serve as the Republican Appropriations chair in the coming session,” said Struzzi. “The leadership team for the coming session is eager to get to work, and I look forward to what we can accomplish together.”
In his new position, Struzzi will collaborate with the majority chair, Senate, and governor on budget and fiscal code bills. He first joined the Appropriations Committee in the 2019-20 Legislative Session and was recently a Subcommittee Chair on Health and Human Services.
Struzzi also holds positions on boards such as the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) and the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation.
His priorities include reducing government spending, eliminating taxes, creating jobs, improving business conditions, and supporting agriculture.
The House Republican leadership team includes Jesse Topper as Leader, Tim O’Neal as Whip, David Rowe as Policy Committee Chair, Sheryl Delozier as Caucus Administrator, Martina White as Caucus Chairman, and Clint Owlett as Caucus Secretary.
