Pennsylvania lost 2,030 soldiers in the Korean war and 1,859 in the Vietnam conflict.
Consumers visiting the store at 41 Towne Center Dr, Leechburg will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Sergeant Leonard Clair Kinkead Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.
This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.
Flags will be available at Allegheny Towne Center Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.
