State Rep. Brian Smith | Pennsylvania 66th Legislative District
House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail (R-Beaver/Washington), Rep. Brian Smith (R-Jefferson/Indiana), and other lawmakers will host the second in a series of hearings titled "Excellence in Government: Preserving Benefit Integrity." The hearing aims to discuss ways to safeguard Pennsylvania's social benefit programs from fraud, waste, and abuse, ensuring that the state's resources are efficiently allocated and accessible to those who truly require assistance.
The hearing will feature testimony from Sam Adolphsen, policy director at the Foundation for Government Accountability, and Roy Lenardson, state government affairs director at the same organization.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 30, at 10 a.m., taking place at Indiana University of Pennsylvania - Punxsutawney Campus, Room 223 in Punxsutawney, PA. Barring any technical difficulties, the hearing will be streamed online.
