Pennsylvania Senate and House Second Amendment Caucus Chairs, Sen. Cris Dush and Rep. Abby Major, have announced the speaker lineup for the upcoming "Shall Not Be Questioned, Right to Keep and Bear Arms Rally" scheduled for April 30, 2024. The event, set to take place at 9 a.m. on the front steps of the state Capitol, will see the participation of pro-Second Amendment state lawmakers, law-abiding firearm owners, and concerned citizens from across the commonwealth.

Rep. Abby Major expressed her enthusiasm for hosting the event, stating, "We must continue to work to ensure our constitutional rights are not infringed upon. If you are able, I encourage everyone to attend this important rally to make your voices heard."

The theme for this year's rally is "Shall Not Be Questioned," inspired by Article 1, Section 21 of the Pennsylvania Constitution. The event will feature nationally recognized right-to-carry proponents, Antonia Okafor Cover and Stephen Willeford, as the keynote speakers.

Sen. Cris Dush highlighted the importance of protecting firearm owners' rights, stating, "The major peril for law-abiding Pennsylvania firearm owners is that even the most 'well-intentioned' or 'commonsense' gun-banning legislation can rapidly mutate, multiply and come to fruition as tyrannical, Orwellian firearm confiscation and control dictates." He also emphasized the need for legislative measures such as Senate Bill 357 to uphold the right to concealed carry.

Antonia Okafor Cover, known for founding Empowered 2A, a women-only nonprofit dedicated to Second Amendment advocacy, will be one of the featured speakers at the rally. Stephen Willeford, recognized for his intervention during the mass shooting at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, will also address the attendees.

The annual event, in support of the Second Amendment and Article 1, Section 21 of the Pennsylvania Constitution, aims to defend the citizens' right to bear arms. Sen. Dush stressed the significance of the rally in combating extreme gun control measures, stating, "On April 30, we must come together and vigilantly stand our ground against gun control like never before."

The 2024 Right to Keep and Bear Arms Rally will be live-streamed on Sen. Dush's website and RepAbbyMajor.com/livestreams. Additional information and flyers for the event can be found on the respective websites of the organizers.
