Senator Cris Dush and Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson have announced satellite office hours for Cameron County in October 2023. On Wednesday, October 18, representatives from both offices will be present at the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce, located at 34 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA 15834. The office hours will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The staff from Senator Dush's office will assist residents with state government-related issues. Services include help with PennDOT paperwork, driver’s license and vehicle registration applications and renewals, handicap placards and dead tags (plates), as well as information on senior citizen benefit programs like Property Tax/Rent Rebate and PACE/PACENET prescription drug programs.
Congressman Thompson’s staff will be available to aid residents needing assistance from federal agencies such as the Social Security Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the IRS.
Appointments are not required for these services. For additional details, individuals can contact Dush’s Smethport district office at (814)-734-2785 during regular business hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding lunch from noon to 1 p.m.
